A bold vintage, modernist ring, modeled in 18k gold, featuring amagnificent, twenty-one carat, step-cut aquamarine gem. This vibrant gem is held in a smooth, low-profile, white gold bezel, that perches atop the ring's fully-round shank on four slender stilts. The ring's split shank is modeled in yellow gold, and is fully round. It's shoulders are innovative and asymmetrical— one side features a broad pair of elegant, tapering laths, whose front-facing ends are channel-set with white, brilliant cut diamonds, the other is airier, with a single, slender channel of side-facing brilliant cut diamonds. The effect is intellectual, and architectural. This is the 1980s at its Bladerunner best— the design calls back to the big glamour of the retro era, but turns that look on its head a little, with a challenging, asymmetrical, futuristic edge that reads as powerfully feminine. This ring is exceptionally well-made and is very comfortable in wear.
